John O’Groats to Inverness

Our first day takes us from John O’Groats along the East coast through Wick where we cross Dornoch Firth and follow the shore of Cromarty Firth on our way to Inverness.

Inverness to Fort William

The route takes us from the shore of Beauly Firth and through the hills to the small town of Drumnadrochit where we head to the shore of the famous Loch Ness. We follow the Caledonian Canal along the Great Glen to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the British Isles.

Fort William to Dumbarton

An easy mornings ride from Fort William that takes us along the shore of Loch Linnhe.

We then continue around the head of Loch Leven and head inland taking in some spectacular scenery as we cycle the length of Loch Lomond.

Dumbarton to Dumfries

We start off along the River Clyde towards Glasgow. We head towards the West coast and cycle through Paisley and Kilmarnock and skirt Galloway Forest Park on our way to Dumfries.

Dumfries to Kendal

Our ride continues East through Gretna and takes us across the border into England.

From Carlisle we take in the length of the Lake District before looping back via Windermere and on to Kendal for some mint cake!

Kendal to Shrewsbury

We head due South towards Lancaster on today’s route that takes us through the northern industrial heartland of England before we hit the flatter roads of north Shropshire.

Shrewsbury to Bristol

We continue south on some lovely roads through the undulating countryside of Shropshire and on through the lovely Herefordshire countryside with its attractive 'Black & White' villages and continues along the Wye Valley. We ride to Chepstow where we cross the River Seven via the old bridge.

Bristol to Tiverton

Today takes us on an easy spin along the Severn River as we skirt around Bristol and head cross-country for an exhilarating descent through the famous Cheddar Gorge. We then head towards Wells and Glastonbury before we head off towards Taunton and on to Tiverton.

Tiverton to Okehampton

We leave Tiverton a little earlier and take in some easy riding as we follow familiar roads as we head to Barnstaple for a stop at the North Devon Hospice and Children’s Hospice South West.

The afternoon ride takes us out of Barnstaple to Torrington where we head off towards Dartmoor.

Okehampton to Land's End

We will be joined by other riders to accompany us on our final leg of our journey.

From Okehampton, we head towards Lifton and bypass Launceston as we head to Camelford. We head South to Wadebridge where a second group of riders will join us for the last 60 miles.

We then head towards Newquay and follow the spectacular North Cornish coast via Perranporth, Portreath, St Agnes and Hayle before crossing inland to Penzance and on to our end destination of Land’s End.
