A MASSIVE, MASSIVE thank you to everyone who attended our homecoming ball on Friday evening. It was a truly superb night and we raised a serious amount of money to boot. Support from you guys is so massively important and it was a pleasure to spend the evening with each and every one of you. As mentioned on Friday, a huge thank you to all of our corporate sponsors, individual sponsors, support crew, film crew, everyone who has supplied their time or services to make this event tick, the team's families for their support and most of all a big thank you from me to my wonderful 9 team mates who contributed to make this an experience of a lifetime for me and one that will live long in the memory.I promise that we will be back in the future (probably around 3 years I reckon after the olympics) with a bigger and better event but remember that you can still support us and our charities by sponsoring today. Thank you for everything and until next time.....RED LEADER - OVER AND OUT!

Lets hope tomorrow night helps with more fundraising for the three worthy charities.
Well done everyone.

Well that's it....we've done it! 1062 miles (couple of detours from Colin lol), 5 punctures, 4 riders falling off but the best time of my life. I am so proud of the team and priviledged to have ridden with them, they are truly amazing and great, great friends. A massive thank you to all of our sponsors, the charities for their superb support throughout, our support drivers Meldrew and dangerous Dave, the film boys Laurence and Lee and most importantly our families for putting up with End 2 End for the past 18 months. I am a very proud man tonight both personally but also for the way in which this event has taken place. My team have always been professional, hard working but most of all the funniest 9 people I could ever have wished to be around. I need to sleep now as I am pretty tired but please don't stop giving!! We have our charity ball this Friday and we would really like to smash all our expectations with a massive final total. Help us get there please! Red Leader

Hi Dad. Rather rainy here. Seanie's gone cycling in the rain.
Thank you for agreeing to take me to Penhill Show, Roses of Spring is very pleased by the news and can't wait to go! Hopefuly going to see some kittens today! :D <-- That is a smiley face btw (by the way- Mum didn't know what btw meant so I thought I should translate), Mum didn't understand the purpose of a colon and a D or realise that together they form a smiley face so I thought I had better tell you incase you weren't sure. The cat people have reserved them for us or something wierd and need to know which ones we want asap because somebody else is also interested. The Big Horse Show (the one at Abbotsham Cross where I won 3 classes last year) is on Sunday, hopefuly Rachael and I are going. Problem is their car is sort of broken, well not broken but unsuitable for towing because Andy reversed into his hedge, he then discovered the wall inside the hedge. So the plan is, well it still has to be confirmed by parents, so mine and Rachael's plan is: Rosie and I sleep over Rach and Queenie's. Mum drives van over in morning. Andy hitches up, get ponies and stuff in etc, drives down back roads. Mum drives along main road. Andy and Mum switch once off the busy roads so that Andy can drive us into the field (may unload ponies on hard ground or the entrance of the field because Andy's used to his 4B4 and will find it wierd driving a normal vechile on wet, slippy grass, yet alone with a heavy trailer on the back. Some people just aren't as pro as you ya see). And then pretty much same back.
Sorry you probably aren't remotely interested in all that but Mum told me you asked for me to write on this so I think I have definitley fullfilled my task, shame I havn't done so well with the bedroom tidying one, or the reading Great Expectations one.
Love you. Sam xx

Sean couldn't be bothered to write a comment for you so I'll write one on his behalf aswell as mine.
Hello Daddio :)
How's the cycling?
Kitten Lady has been, there are 4 kittens ready now- all ginger ninjas and ones a tabby :D and 4 ready in about 5 weeks- black and white. Two of the ones ready now are a very pale ginger, almost a sandy colour and have a siamese look, there's a girl and a boy like this. The other 2 from the same litter, a tabby boy, he's currently got a slightly weepy eye and is on eye drops, he's also timid, Mum like's the sound of him though despite this. The other one is long haired- well long enough to need regular brushing, she's a girl, she's on antibiotics because she had a temperature but she's fine now. She's called Jasmine but we can allways change that because I wanted to call my kitten Ginger Ninja :)
Much love. Sam xx (and Sean- although he hasn't contributed to this message in the slightest so isn't al;lowed to take any credit for my amazing post :P)

As the days roll on the legs get stronger and belly gets smaller…..
I’m reading your blog every day thanks to Mr Dart. It brings back memories of fun from when we did it a couple of year back, but it brings about stronger feelings of envy…! The good times and the not so good time will stick with you forever on this one. We need to draw back to purpose of the event, which is not a 10 days holiday with the boys on the bikes having beer every night, despite what wives and partners will be thinking by now!! But the causes you’ll all raising money, the fact that many of us can enjoy the pleasure of ridding should not shadow the fact that there are people not in a position to do so. The money you will raise will bring joy and comfort to those and through reading the blog a smile to their faces.
This will be the only post I’ll make, so I need to ensure I do get an opportunity to provide some support for those who I personally know on the ride…… I am saddened that Colin will not be finishing the ride, as according to his out of office he’ll be back at work next Tuesday!! Mind you I’ve note that Colin was involved in planning the route, so god knows where you’ll end up, as his sense of directed is slighted miss guided sometimes. It funny the last time I saw Mr Timothy he was called Andrew, what kind of mid life crisis called him Andi, with and I..!!! Don’t tell me he’s got a tattoo and a ponytail these days. He’ll be please as he’ll soon be near his friends, loved ones and relatives….baaaaaa! And as for Vesty, stop shirking your responsibilities get off that back wheel and take a lead for once in your life….
Have fun ladies and keep up the good work. Watch out for the midlands as the lorry drivers are nutters and the roads sometimes look bigger on the map than they are. Keep safe.
Mr Sylvester - Friday, August 20, 2010
Andy T,

Hey Daddio :)
Hope you're having fun cycling in the rain (or maybe you're lucky and it's not rainy where you are).
The Cat Protection League womanpersony is coming over to check the safety of us and our house to see whether we are suitable for adopting kittens tomorrow morning, I'm worried that the hole in the kitchen ceiling may let us down, I think a kitten would love to explore between the kitchen ceiling and the bedroom floor ;), that and the ponds incase they try to go swimming in them, maybe we can get a cat that's not quite at that extreme level of thickness though. Anyway because of this I have to go and tidy my floordrobe incase cat woman (or it could be cat man-but it should be batman and cat woman so cat man wouldn't really work out) wants to see my room, so I'd better go. I'm also on about chapter 4 of Great Expectations-which I probably can't spell, so I should really get on with reading the other few hundered chapters.
Roses of Spring questioned your well being and requested for me to send you her love, she's such an affectionate ponio, bless.
Love you. Sam xx

The team are all busy training very hard and clocking up some serious mileage. Please dig deep and sponsor them just a few pounds to help make those dark, cold early morning starts worthwhile. Thank you so much to all of you who have supported us so far, we really are grateful! Keep telling your friends about our website and get them to pay us a visit.
Red Leader - Sunday, March 07, 2010
PR launch went very well in Barnstaple Town Square. Good to meet with representatives of the other two charities. A cold, snowy day but we were all kept warm at the sight of those wonderful red shirts and with the thought of how many families are going to be helped with the money raised. Once again, thank you to all the wonderful cyclists. Wishing you all safe training! x
Ally - Wednesday, March 03, 2010

Thanks for the donations Lisa and Ryan - very generous of you. Got a cold and wet 50 miles in yesterday and been doing quite a few hills and interval sessions on the turbo trainer. This lack of wind has meant more cycling than windsurfing this winter!
Roll on warmth and daylight!!!!

Thanks for the donation John. I'll be doing my best to finish so I don't have to pay you back!!!!
Mark - Sunday, January 24, 2010
